Moulton Community Centre

A large, new build Community Centre to serve the expanding village of Moulton.

We completely re-worked a previous design to suit the specific needs of Moulton Parish Council to provide a functional Community building and Parish office/committee meeting room.

The building also contains a new Library facility to be operated by NCC, and includes for a generous café with space for an outdoor, south- facing seating terrace.

The two large Halls on the ground floor can be let independently, or combined (via the movable acoustic wall) to create a substantial sized space for wedding receptions and large parties.  The building is provided with kitchen/servery and general toilets, stores and archiving.

The first floor contains further multi-use spaces which can be let for smaller functions (yoga, youth groups, etc) and for the Parish Committee meetings.

The crisp modern architectural detailing based on a traditional design of steeply pitched roofs and multiple gables provide for a striking building, to serve as a local landmark at the entrance to this new housing development.
