Matthew joined the practice in 2016, having graduated from Nottingham Trent University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture (BArch). Since joining pHp, Matthew returned to university on a part-time basis allowing him to continue to develop within the industry while working towards his postgraduate qualifications, which he completed in 2021.

Matt has performed the Lead Architect role up to tender stage for two multi-storey fulfilment centres in excess of 2.3million sqft, and has performed the Lead Designer role alongside a Partner for a new £50 million production and distribution warehouse with office accommodation for DHL. Matthew has played a key role coordinating complex occupier fitout works with the base-build design during both the design and construction phases. Matthew was promoted to Associate in 2024.
